Municipalities and engineering firms nationwide use Appia to streamline construction administration and inspection on federal, state, and locally-funded infrastructure projects. Appia’s mix of mobile tools, integrations, and free read-only accounts supports collaboration and compliance on every project. 

The Appia construction data visualization tool allows users of the Appia construction management tool to geo-enable their construction project management data. The product is a set of ArcGIS Online dashboards that allow users to view and drill down into construction projects and their associated observations, financial information, and field notes from operators.   

ATS developed the Web application that deploys and tracks the underlaying assets to enable these dashboards in the organizations ArcGIS Online account. These assets included groups, web maps, feature services, python notebooks, and dashboards. All these assets were created using the ArcGIS REST API once the user signs into the Appia deployment tool. All the assets working together comprise the Appia solution. The python notebook aggregates data from several data sources into one feature service that drive the dashboards and allowed users to drill down into geo-enabled construction project data. This project demonstrates ATS’s expert understanding of the ArcGIS REST API.
