2018 Summary of Events

DMS-MES Contract (FA2517-16-D-9000)

  • May 14-18, 2018: Fort Polk Full Scale Exercise, in which ATS provided Modeling and Simulation Support Services to stimulate the Garrison EOC as the culmination of training and planning of responder resources to identified disasters, hazards and threats.

  • May 11-18, 2018: Missouri National Guard Special Focus Event (SFE), in which ATS simulated multiple geographical and functional subordinate Task Forces as well as HRFs, CERFPs and CSTs in order to stimulate Missouri’s JTF-State.

  • May 12-16, 2018: FEMA Region I Homeland Response Force (HRF) External Evaluation, in which ATS simulated multiple CBRN Enhanced Response Force Packages (CERFP), Weapons of Mass Destruction – Civil Support Teams (WMD-CST), State Joint Task Forces (JTF-State) and the Consequence Management Supply Center (COMSUPCEN) in order to stimulate the FEMA Region I HRF.

  • May 3-10, 2018: VIGILANT GUARD Maryland, in which ATS simulated multiple geographical and functional subordinate Task Forces in order to stimulate the JTF-State/Dual Status Commander (DSC) for Maryland. ATS’s MSEL Tool was also used to drive the exercise.

  • May 3-10, 2018: VIGILANT GUARD Virginia, in which ATS simulated multiple geographical and functional subordinate Task Forces in order to stimulate the JTF-State/Dual Status Commander (DSC) for Virginia. ATS’s MSEL Tool was also used to drive the exercise.

  • May 3-10, 2018: Exercise ARDENT SENTRY, in which ATS executed the constructive simulation element of the Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA) exercise including replication of the Friendly Force Tracker (FFT) input to the Common Operational Picture (COP) for over 500 unit-level entities, and including disaster plots and additional elements of damage and destruction in the vicinity of the exercise incidents.

  • May 2-6, 2018: FEMA Region VIII Homeland Response Force (HRF) Collective Training Event, in which ATS simulated multiple CBRN Enhanced Response Force Packages (CERFP), Weapons of Mass Destruction – Civil Support Teams (WMD-CST), State Joint Task Forces (JTF-State) and the Consequence Management Supply Center (COMSUPCEN) in order to stimulate the FEMA Region VIII HRF.

  • April, 23-27 2018: Fort Carson Full Scale Exercise, in which ATS provided Modeling and Simulation Support Services to stimulate the Garrison EOC as the culmination of training and planning of responder resources to identified disasters, hazards and threats.

  • April 16-20, 2018: Fort Detrick Full Scale Exercise, in which ATS provided Modeling and Simulation Support Services to stimulate the Garrison EOC as the culmination of training and planning of responder resources to identified disasters, hazards and threats.

  • April 3-26, 2018: CBRN Response Element (CRE) Confirmation Exercise VIBRANT RESPONSE, in which ATS executed the constructive simulation element of the exercise, including replication of the Friendly Force Tracker (FFT) input to the Common Operational Picture (COP) for over 600 unit-level entities.

  • April 4-7, 2018: FEMA Region I Homeland Response Force (HRF) Collective Training Event, in which ATS simulated multiple CBRN Enhanced Response Force Packages (CERFP), Weapons of Mass Destruction – Civil Support Teams (WMD-CST), State Joint Task Forces (JTF-State) and the Consequence Management Supply Center (COMSUPCEN) in order to stimulate the FEMA Region I HRF.

  • March 26-30, 2018: Fort Gordon Full Scale Exercise, in which ATS provided Modeling and Simulation Support Services to stimulate the Garrison EOC as the culmination of training and planning of responder resources to identified disasters, hazards and threats.

  • February 27 – March 7, 2018: VIGILANT GUARD Montana, in which ATS simulated multiple geographical and functional subordinate Task Forces in order to stimulate the JTF-State/Dual Status Commander (DSC) for Montana. ATS’s MSEL Tool was also used to drive the exercise.

  • February 26 – March 1, 2018: Fort Hunter Liggett Full Scale Exercise, in which ATS provided Modeling and Simulation Support Services to stimulate the Garrison EOC as the culmination of training and planning of responder resources to identified disasters, hazards and threats.

  • January 20 - 29, 2018: Exercise SUDDEN RESPONSE, in which ATS executed the constructive simulation element of the exercise, simulating the DOD CBRN Response Force (DCRF) down-trace units in order to stimulate Joint Task Force – Civil Support (JTF-CS).

  • June 7-10, 2018: Consequence Management Staff Trainer event for the Georgia National Guard, training the Joint Force Headquarters staff in disaster response using a hurricane scenario.

  • June 1-3, 2018: Consequence Management Staff Trainer event for the Indiana National Guard, training the Joint Force Headquarters staff in disaster response using a nuclear HAZMAT scenario.

  • June 3, 2018: Consequence Management Staff Trainer event for the New Hampshire National Guard, training the Joint Force Headquarters staff in disaster response using a flooding scenario.
