Applied Training Solutions, LLC is pleased to announce that it was recently awarded a contract to provide commercial and customizable Risk Mitigation Modeling and Simulation (RMM&S) for a range of Homeland Defense, Civil Support, Domestic Resilience, and Security Cooperation exercises and training events hosted/conducted by USNORTHCOM’s J7 Joint Training and Exercises Directorate and U.S. Army North. ATS’ RMM&S solutions will support the strategic priorities of: (1) Defending the Homeland; (2) Strengthening the Network; and (3) Advancing the Workforce, enabling USNORTHCOM to train to create time, options, and decision space to Deter in Competition, De-escalate in Crisis, and Deny and Defeat in Conflict. The training audiences are varied and include numerous Joint Task Forces and the National Guard Bureau.

ATS has provided modeling and simulation capability to ARNORTH for over 15 years and to USNORTHCOM for over 12 years. On this contract, a number of DoD and non-DoD organizations utilize ATS proprietary applications in varying configurations to meet RMM&S requirements to establish realistic training environments. This unity of effort and efficiency of shared resources will leverage limited modeling and simulation resources across multiple training partner organizations, while simultaneously building a common training environment that will maximize training interoperability, minimize training simulation incompatibilities, and establish a larger library of available training scenarios.
