We are proud to announce we have been awarded the NATO-Georgian Joint Training Evaluation Center (JTEC) Training Support Program contract by PEO STRI. This prestigious contract underscores ATS’s commitment to enhancing military readiness through cutting-edge training solutions and strategic support.
Under this contract, ATS will support the Georgian Armed Forces by providing three Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) specializing in Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation and Virtual Battle Space (VBS) Simulations. These SMEs arrived in Georgia in late June and have already begun making significant contributions.
Upon their arrival, the SMEs were immediately tasked with providing in-depth training on VBS3 scripting and resolving various system bugs. Over the past week, they dedicated their efforts to addressing these issues, significantly enhancing the training capabilities at JTEC.
Randall “Rex” Rowlands, one of the SMEs, led the instruction with a series of detailed, step-by-step scenarios. Each block of instruction concluded with practical exercises, allowing students to apply their newly acquired knowledge. This hands-on approach ensured that the training was both effective and engaging.
Beyond structured instruction, the SMEs also engaged in collaborative problem-solving with the JTEC team. They tackled various system errors and provided solutions, empowering the JTEC staff to deliver more robust training to their soldiers.
Lt. Col. Mikheil Begiashvili, the Commander of the Georgian JTEC Simulation Centre, expressed his confidence in the improved capabilities of his team. “I’m sure we will have one of the best VBS teams very soon,” he remarked, highlighting the significant impact of ATS’s support.
